Mount Vernon Film Festival—August 2025

STANDOFF kicked off the Mount Vernon Film Festival in (where else?) Mount Vernon, New York. And what a great time it was!

STANDOFF was the very first film to screen and was talked about all weekend. Our unique look, pacing, and style were complimented by other filmmakers at the event. I should mention that these were all extremely talented individuals with really amazing projects of their own, so receiving such positive feedback meant all that much more.

The most exciting part was being awarded not just one, but two awards! STANDOFF was awarded Best Writing and Best Crime/Thriller at the concluding ceremony!

I couldn’t be more proud of my cast, crew, and fellow producers for making such a wonderful thing happen. I am humbled by the whole experience.

Big Apple Film Festival—Spring 2025

We had the best time at the Big Apple Film Festival!

STANDOFF played really well in front of an audience in our very first public screening. Lots of very kind compliments from other very talented people (I thought our block of NYC Premiers was particularly strong).
